Minergate.exe trojan

Postby MrAlicard » Thu Jul 21, 2016 5:22 pm

My F-Security says today that minergate.exe is a trojan generic.
Before I could use without problem. I don't know why is it marked as trojan.
When I click to More Information, then I get this url: https://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/trojan_generic.shtml

I got the same issue with Webroot and Symantec. McAfee seems not to detect this file as infected though...

it is marked as trojan because it runs in the background while mining whatever coin you are mining

Some viruses do mining while you dont know it, that's why some anti virus softwares mark Minergate/Other miners as virus, even though Minergate isnt an virus. Allow minergate from your antivirus software or disable it when you're installing/using Minergate.
